Kinetco provides water softeners in the price range of $1,000+ range. Professional installation is usually required. It is on the higher end of the price range but it also does real well in larger homes. In addition they also provide smaller water softener solutions.

Pelican Water Softeners

Pelican offers water softeners in the price range of $700 – $1,500 so they are on the top tier in terms of pricing. They also seem to provide the best results. Most of their softeners will require professional installations.
